Mortise & Tenon Construction
Mortise and Tenon is an old and simple method but is one of the strongest techniques in building strong wood doors and furniture. The two components of the door (Mortise and Tenon) are interlocked together at a 90-degree angle to create durable corners.
A mortise is a piece of wood where a tenon is attached. A tenon is the end portion of wood that fits into a mortise.

Barolo Doors
Barolo doors are increasing in demand among wine collectors because they look elegant. For this style of custom wine cellar door, you have an option to choose between all wood or dual pane tempered glass with wooden frame. The standard design is the Barolo door with an arched top and beveled glass inset. The wood we use is the Knotty Alder, which exhibits beautiful swirls and knots.

Chianti doors are manufactured with a solid wood core using the LVL technology to make them able to withstand the humid conditions in wine cellars. This arched custom wine cellar door comes with an option of a black iron speakseasy, which usually has a grapevine design. You may choose a carved Chianti door if you want to add appeal to your entrance.

Coto
Coto style custom wine cellar doors can have an arched or a square top. It consists of dual paned glass, black wrought iron, and hand grape or custom carvings on both or one side, or in the middle section. For easy cleaning, Coto doors are hinged. If you want to add flair to your Barolo door, you can request the glass panel to be etched with any design you want.
